# Motivation

My experience with TimeTime began one evening when I felt a mixture of frustration and affection at my three-year-old son's innocent reaction after I warned him about his mealtime deadline. In that moment, I realized the need for a more effective way to communicate the concept of time to him. This realization led to the creation of TimeTime, an app that I have since integrated into our daily routine with remarkable success. It has allowed me to eliminate the need for yelling and has provided my son with a clear understanding of the time constraints we discussed.

# Beyond Small Kids

TimeTime is designed as a straightforward countdown timer that visualizes the passage of time in an intuitive manner. While it was initially developed with young children in mind, I have discovered its utility extends beyond this demographic. My older children have also benefited from its features in various contexts where understanding time progression is essential. Personally, I have found it particularly helpful during workout sessions, as being able to visually track my progress serves as a significant motivator during challenging moments.
